I obtained my master's degree in psychology in 2024 and am currently enrolled in a four-year training program in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), set to complete in 2028. Alongside my training in CBT, I have achieved Level 2 certification in the Gottman Method, an evidence-based approach that enhances couples' relationships by developing deeper understanding and stronger connections between partners.
For my master's thesis, I conducted a research study exploring the impact of social comparison and self-compassion on women's body image. This research helped me to expand my knowledge regarding body image struggles, as well as learn about different tools to improve it.
I grew up in Lithuania and have lived, worked and studied in France, Italy and the Netherlands before settling down in Belgium. In my spare time I love walking, swimming and reading.
I also have my own sustainable silver jewelry company where I get to satisfy my creative side.
I currently live in Ghent, Belgium and offer (for now) only online therapy.
It feels like I got an opportunity to live a couple of lives before finding this path which makes me feel the most fulfilled.
Before following my heart to study psychology, I had obtained another master's degree in the field of quantitative economic methods. I have worked for 5+ years in research in behavioral finance, until fully accepting that the finance part never interested me, it was about people and their behaviour all along.
