I'm a trained Gottman therapist, which means that I use an evidence-based approach to help you work through your relationship problems and towards a greater closeness in your relationship. This method is very hands-on and provides you with actual tools to improve your relationship.
I often say that learning how to have a close, safe and healthy relationship is like learning a foreign language - maybe practicing what you learn in the beginning feels strange and uncomfortable, but later it becomes your second nature. And I believe that everyone deserves a happy and fulfilling relationship.
We spend 3 first sessions making the assessment of your relationship and identifying its weaknesses as well as strengths.
1st session: 90 min couples session exploring the problems you are facing and the broader history of your relationship.
2nd session: I meet with each partner individually for 45 min/partner to talk about your individual experiences.
Between 2nd and 3rd sessions: I'll send you a questionnaire to complete which makes our work together more efficient.
3rd session: We meet all together for a 90min session where to discuss my findings and the direction of therapy we'll take.
